Savor Grocery Rep

We are currently seeking a Market Sales Representative to represent the Company’s sales interests within accounts and with broker and distributor account contacts for a specified region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Travels through assigned territory to make sales calls at store locations.
• Maximizes sales at or above planned levels by monitoring and enhancing broker/distributor representative performance.
• Maintains optimum product distribution in all locations; conducts store audits; maintains shelf space according to set plan-o-grams, insures proper product rotation in order to prevent out-of-date products minimizes “low stocks” and eliminates “out-of-stocks”.
• Develops and maintains existing account contact relationships through regular communication with distributors, brokers, store managers, district managers, and appropriate division personnel.
• Communicates all pricing and promotional information to all internal/external points of contact.
• Prepares and submits monthly market activities, pricing and progress reports.
• Monitors, evaluates and reports to management the activities and products of the competition and the market in general.
• Participates in account events such as coffee tastings, ambassador events, grand openings, complementary coffee service, and any other promotional support. This may include weekends or other high volume retail day.
• Develops contact list of leads to seek additional business opportunities and solicits increased distribution of company products in all appropriate accounts.
• Trains and accompanies brokers/distributors to optimize market objectives.
• Participates in and networks at trade association meetings and special events to promote the company’s products and services in conjunction with marketing team.
• Collaborates with other Area Sales Managers to provide field level support that ultimately supports overall company goals.
• Manages all expenses as related to this position within budget assigned by the Company.
• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition and the market in general and report findings to management.
• High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred, AND at least three years Consumer Product Goods experience in a sales environment or an equivalent combination of both.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record and must be able to travel up to 15% – 20% of the time.
